The main objective of CLIL approach is learning about academic topics and being able to effectively communicate ideas about the content learned by using language. That is why an integrated curriculum is of outmost importance in CLIL classes and teachers need to be aware of the rich and meaningful communicative context in CLIL environment, in which pupils practice their second language by speaking about a variety of subjects.
