Module 3 offers trainees an opportunity for self-reflection and increased awareness of their skills, knowledge, and practices in a CLIL-oriented classroom. The module presents various training tools, such as self-reflective and self-assessing checklists, questionnaires, and grids.

Unit 1 specifically focuses on the trainees' awareness of their level of knowledge and experience in CLIL teaching. The unit examines the following aspects:

• The role of self-motivation in developing self-efficacy.
• The competences necessary for successful CLIL teaching.
• The correlation between the development of critical thinking skills and improvement in overall skill development.
• The integration of the curriculum within a CLIL context.
• The utilization of authentic learning materials.
• Strategies to enhance, integrate, and adapt digital competences to foster a CLIL experience.

Unit 2 focuses on assessing trainees' CLIL orientation by observing their actions and performance in applying CLIL. The following aspects are investigated and observed during the training:

• Classroom management in a CLIL teaching environment.
• Evaluation of the effectiveness and appropriateness of chosen methodologies and strategies for teaching and learning.
• Assessment of the suitability of tasks, activities, and tools for the age and language competence of the pupils.
• Observation of classroom interaction, including the use of questions and language chunks.

In Unit 3, trainees are guided through a process that helps them comprehend the significance of the 4 Cs in the planning of a CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) lesson. The 4 Cs include:

• Content: activities carefully aligned with the core elements of specific essentials of Art or Music with reference to the State curriculum;
• Communication: activities which develop communicative skills to be able to express ideas about the subject contents related to Arts or Music.
• Cognition: activities which:
• Elicit the cognitive and thinking processes;
• Develop skills which associate both concept expansion, understanding and language training;
• Increase thinking skills
• Culture: activities which expose the pupils to alternative perspectives and shared cultural insights

Unit 4: In this unit, trainees will be led through the steps of creating a comprehensive CLIL lesson plan to ensure an effective CLIL teaching experience. The unit focuses on the analysis of the following components:

• Initial preparation steps, such as material selection, activity adjustments, categorization of communicative functions, and task drafting.
• The essential elements that constitute a unit or lesson plan.
